SAGE (Studying and Advancing Global Eldercare) is inviting aged care professionals from all over the world to join its educative, professional and culturally appropriate study experience in another country looking at Seniors Living Models and delivery of care.

Back by popular demand SAGE is returning to Switzerland, 30 April – 12 May 2016, in a tour aimed toward leading innovation in care, visiting organisations in Zurich, Basel and Bern. The New Zealand tour, 18 – 29 June 2016, will visit a mix of retirement villages and some co-located care facilities in Auckland, Tauranga and Rotorua. In addition, the RVA’s Executive Director John Collyns will provide an overview of the NZ consumer protection regime at the start to put the tour in context. The trip has been  aligned to include RVA NZ annual conference and a post tour to beautiful Queenstown will also be offered.

We are very much looking forward to welcoming delegates on our very own CommonAge/SAGE Study Tour to Australia 12-20 June 2016 where delegates will spend a week in South Australia (Australia premier wine state) studying the Aged Care system, engaging and networking at CEO and senior executive levels with industry leaders and peers providing invaluable opportunities for discussion and engagement. Delegates will visit multiple organisations and engage in discussions and presentations focussing on innovation in retirement living, residential and community care, dementia, residential and   Aged care design, including the interface between aged  care and health and wellbeing.  This tour is designed and suitable for both National and International emerging and aspiring leaders, front line managers, supervisors, senior staff, CEO’s and Board directors. It also coincides with the IFA conference being held at the Brisbane, 21 – 23 June 2016.

Other tours this year include The Netherlands/France, South Africa and our CommonAge/SAGE tour to India in September 2016.
