We are delighted to welcome to four new members to our Board.
All are very passionate aged care sector leaders in their respective countries, and bring with them a diverse wealth of experience and knowledge.
In these extraordinary times, we are facing many challenges in our sector, but by coming together and sharing ideas and experiences, we can work to ensure individuals of all ages are fully accepted, respected and included in our society.
Our new members are:
Samantha Bowen, Australia
Samantha Bowen holds the roles of Principal Advisor LASA Next Gen and Principal Advisor LASA Mentoring Program at Leading Age Services Australia. Leading the design of national initiatives that attract the best and brightest young leaders and professionals to steer the age services industry through a period of unprecedented growth and change. Through LASA Next Gen and the LASA Mentoring Program, Samantha is ensuring all ages are engaged in aged care discussions and have the skills to shape and lead the sector and create the types of dynamic and innovative workplaces we want.
She is also the founded the Acorn Network, a unique organisation connecting young leaders, entrepreneurs, executives, students who are ready to turn their passion for aged care into leadership and action.

Mansoor Dalal, India
Mr Mansoor Dalal, is an architect, who after 32 years of practice, across 26 cities, voluntarily closed operations, so as to devote his full time to the cause of Senior Living in India.
His company Oasis Senior Living, has been concentrating on developing senior living communes across the country since 2002. Its domain expertise is from concept to commissioning to operations and it is the only consultancy in India offering these holistic services for the Senior Living industry.
He is also the founder and chairman of ASLI (Association of Senior Living India), the first national professional trade association formed to represent senior living providers in India and to protect the interest of seniors.

Dan Levitt, Canada
Dan Levitt MSc., CHE is an acclaimed international speaker, elder care leader, writer, and gerontologist, specialising in helping others to create better lives for seniors. Dan’s purpose is to teach millions of people how to transform the lives of older adults across the globe.
As an eldercare leader and CEO of Tabor Village in Vancouver, he shepherds the enhancement of social, spiritual and care needs for more than 300 seniors, inspiring a team of over 400 employees and volunteers with a commitment to continuously improving the quality of life.

Mat Whittingham, Australia
Mat has spent almost his entire 17-year entrepreneurial career building organisations that support adult care and life-long learning.
After reading Sports Science at De Montford University, UK. Mat used his early experiences in the finance sector to use cutting-edge marketing and product management theory to create a multi-million-dollar vocational training organization.
In 2009 Mat was able to use that experiential and financial capital to start the transformation of a small content provider in the UK care sector. Driven by a passion for improving the quality of care, he is now the CEO of that company, QCS. After a decade of growth, it now supports 70,000+ care professionals every day.
