Calling all young writers and nonagenarians!
Help us create a gift fit for the Queen
Join us in a special project created to celebrate our monarch, Queen Elizabeth II’s 92nd birthday and 65 years as Head of the Commonwealth. We would like to commemorate this very special occasion with a beautifully presented, unique book of stories and photographs of fellow nonagenarians, written by young people from around the Commonwealth.
This exciting story telling project is bringing young and old people together so they can:
- Share experiences
- Take photographs
- Record stories for generations to come
Do you know someone who, like our Queen, is in their 90s?
Are you in your 90s and would like to talk to a young person aged between 15 and 24 on 31st October about your life?
Or maybe you know a young person who enjoys writing would like to be a published author, and can bring young and old to help us create this unique and special gift for the Queen?
“I hope elders and young people in all Commonwealth countries will join together and participate in this exciting project, and help us to produce a wonderful collection of life stories from people in all walks of life. Join us in contributing to this special gift for Her Majesty,” says Andrew Larpent OBE, Chairman CommonAge.
